Kristina Tipper

Growing up in Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines, as a ‘Third Culture Kid’ whose New Zealand parents were on long-term overseas assignments, Kristina is familiar with the adjustments that need to be made when switching between cultures.

With qualifications in education and coaching, and extensive experience in the education industry, Kristina is often engaged in designing and implementing training programmes and curricula for a range of adult and junior learners. Her recent roles have seen her running refugee education programmes for displaced families, preparing class members for the transition of moving to life in another culture. In all her programming she brings a first-hand awareness of the complexities involved when rapid cultural adjustment is required.  She is an education consultant with experience in assessing organisational training needs;  writing curriculum and training programmes (in-person and online delivery); training delivery; coaching; and programme evaluation.

Training programmes produced include training of trainers; adult learning; psychosocial considerations; coaching and mentoring; and diversity in learning.
